XAndes

A documentary film following the XANDES from its conception through the race will be co produced and directed by Peter Chrzanowski an Jorge Vignati. The film is also coproduced by Cable Andino , a cable network in Huaraz which is helping with promotion, cameramen and editing. Clips from the making of will fuel the film on youtube, facebook, etc.

Legendary Jorge Vignati is a cameraman  and director who has worked on films made by Werner Herzog , including Fitzgeraldo , Aguirre , The Wrath of God and Cerro Torre with Reinhold Messner and Donald Southerland. His work includes shooting for SURVIVORS, Discovery, The BBC, National Geographic etc. he film will explore the inception of the XANDES dream , abit of history from organizers and will chronicle our efforts how we bring ANCASH and the beautiful Cordillera Blanca to the worlds attention through XANDES.
