Greetings! My name is Frank, and I am a 43 year old trucker. I am on the road most of the time, and have long waits. I decided to start this blog to add all my pictures of different places I go. Traveling all over the United States I have seen a lot of beauty. I also know a lot of factual information that some folks would be interested in. This blog will basically be all you will want to know about a truckers life, but don’t let that scare you off. I tend to write about my travels, and things that would interest the reader.
I am a single dad to a beautiful daughter who just turned 22. She got married last year, and is expecting her first baby. When I am home, I spend most of my time with her and my son in-law. My parents also live close by, and I see them often as well. I try to be home 3 nights a week, but some trips won’t allow that.
Besides being a truck driver, I enjoy bird watching, which can be quite interesting since I travel all over. I have seen hundreds of different bird species. You will probably get to see some of my bird pictures on my blog from time to time. I hope to talk about all the fifty states, and feature the important things that go with them, such as the state bird, moto and flower.
I started truck driving when I was twenty, and I love it. There is a peacefulness about it. Just me and the open road. I love music, and reading books as well. I had never really given a lot of thought into starting a blog, until last spring. My daughter was designing a blog for one of her clients, and she explained how it all worked. I found it interesting and began researching. I have run across a lot of unique blogs that give some great knowledge.
To me, I find it more enjoyable to read an individual blog, as they have taken the time to write and know the information that they are sharing. They are not getting paid to do a blog, they do it out of enjoyment, because of that their writing really stands out. I hope that I can grow a fan base who enjoys reading about my trucker’s life.
Driving for 23 years, I have found a lot of hidden areas that people do not even know about. They are off the grid, but worth visiting. I hope that you enjoy my blog, and I look forward to hearing your feedback. If you have an area that you would like to see covered, let me know. More than likely I have been there. If I haven’t been there, you better believe I’ll make a point to go. Its kind of a thing, I want to see all there is to see.
